CHI CHEN
Chen Chi (1912-2005) était un peintre chinois de renom qui est devenu un citoyen des États-Unis, où il a vécu et travaillé pendant la majeure partie de son career. Chi est né à Wuxi, Jiangsu, Chine en 1912.
Son premier one-man show aux Etats-Unis était à l'Art Center Village à New York en 1947.
Chi a vécu et travaillé au National Arts Club à New York depuis 40 ans, et en 1966 a reçu la médaille d'or du Club national des Arts pour les travaux à vie Achievement.Chi l 'ont montré partout aux Etats-Unis y compris au Portland Museum of Art dans le Maine et le Musée des Beaux-Arts, Houston (1948); le Miami Beach Art Center (1952), le La Jolla Art Center et le Musée Witte (1953), et le Charles et Emma Frye Art Museum de Seattle (1955).
